WTF? What's The Fashion? Colored Leather Skirts

Fall came a little early this year bringing with its shorter skirts in leather but in colors. Famous in fashion shows from fall 2010 collections, colored leather skirts are back for an encore. Even though leather skirts probably aren't the best choice of a bottom to wear during the summer, a mini colored one at night at an air conditioned restaurant adds a little daring sex appeal to a rockin' fun evening. It also makes an ideal choice for those going to any concerts this summer. Since this skirt is more appropriate for the fall, great colors would be brown or olive. However, since this trend is eager to make an appearance, for a little edge on summer days go with more pastel colors like gray or vibrant jewel tones like blue and for those eventual summer nights a richer darker hue such as plum. Lighter colors will make your leather skirt look cooler and adding feminine details like Sophia Bush's sheer black belted blouse will make your leather skirt look lighter. Trade in your knee-leather boots for a pair of sandals or neutral colored heels and your edgy summer outfit is complete.

  1. im loving the colored leather!! It reminds me of the 90s! (except this time its leather instead of pleather)
    great post

  2. i love the blue skirt on blake but not the other two.

  3. I simply cannot stop reading your blog. It's so up to date on the latest fashions! I am obsessed with these skirts!!! Blake's is my fave but I also love Emmy Rossum's! Sophia Bush is gorg but hers would look better if it was tighter or more fitted though it's way more casual than the other two. Regardless, your fashion blog is so cute! I love it!
