WTF? What's The Fashion? Color-Blocked Dresses

Color-blocking is when at least one article of clothing has at least two different, distinctly separated colors without a pattern, image or blending. It is by far one of my favorite fashion stylings along with animal inspiration. It's cool, it's modern, it's fabulous! It's also effortless. Color-blocked dresses are the easiest outfits to accessorize. The dress itself makes a statement all its own. All that is needed are simple, barely-there jewelry and nude shoes. Some other rules that have been applied to wearing a color-blocked dress with shoes are to wear white shoes with lighter shaded dresses or for darker hues go for black pumps. Add a little edge with two-toned wedges à la Julianne Moore or you can take one of your favorite colors out of the dress and express it further with a color-matching clutch. Also, to add just a little more admiration to your colorful physique, pull your hair back in a up-sweep or up-do hairstyle. To expand color-blocking in your wardrobe even more, you can simply take a solid color top and complete it with another colored skirt or pant to resemble the looks that Rashida and Pippa are wearing; scroll down to see fashion editor, Taliah Ferguson of Fashion Was Here for Her Take on the Trend! Anyway, I love these kinds of dresses and if you go for it with a color-blocked style go all out and just simply GO FOR IT!!!
