There are countless styles of tunics that can flatter any figure and all you'll need is a belt. After picking a tunic with the right waistline that fits your body-type, emphasize an hourglass figure by wrapping a tunic that is gathered or belted at the waist. To boost your bust, choose an empire-waist style. Now when deciding how tight to tie your tunic, keep in mind that with a knit tunic it will be able to hug your curves or you can minimize wide hips in an A-line style. To create a more petite physique, opt for a tunic that hits below the widest part of your thighs. As an alternative to shorts, for fall, wear something that is slim-fitting on the bottom to balance out the loose proportions up top. Slim-fit pants or jeans make a good choice to wear on the bottom with tunics, as are leggings. If you do decide to wear your tunic solely as a dress, I shouldn't have to tell you to make sure that it is long enough to cover your God-given talents whenever you bend over.
