WTF? What's The Fashion? Be A Star in Stripes

For those in fear of the fashion faux-pas question, "Do stripes make me look fat?" No worries! This trend, if worn wisely, can be not only a fashion statement but may end up being your fashion favorite. Thin stripes especially in long-sleeved tops can elongate the body giving you a longer torso creating a slimmer physique. For chunky stripes especially worn in basic colors like black and white, break it up with a pop of colour. For the Memorial holiday, go patriotic with navy blues and white and pop your outfit with colors of red and gold. Keep the season trend going by pairing your striped top with a pair of white wide leg pants and linen wedges. If you want a more sophisiticated take on the trend. Go to your family evening barbeque with a blazer worn over or your striped top or accent it with neutral colors of camel and tan for a more classic look instead of just wearing them with black.
While in the park enjoying your holiday picnic with family and friends, pop some more color to your striped style while still showing your patriotic spirit and protoecting your eyes by shading them with a pair of sunnies with a crimson frame. Salute your Style and be Red, White, and Blue-tiful!

WTF? What's The Fashion? Pastel Colours

Reflecting back a month to Easter and for endless springs before that, pastel colors have played such an incredible role in everyday spring fashion. What's made such a traditional wardrobe color scheme a trendsetter this season is using them in multiple shades and colors within one outfit. So play up your style in "pretty colors" or "baby colors" like light blue, pink, lavender, yellow, etc seen almost all throughout in Katy Perry's ensemble. As seen on our celebrities, it is now a trend and therefore encouraged to add on different soft-hues incorporated into one look. A nude platform heel is the perfect finishing touch for this happy spring-time ensemble. Combine another styling trend like Ms. Port has in her colorblocking skirt. I find it darling that she finishes her look with a pair of leopard flats. But if your like me and are afraid of resembling an Easter egg, add a softer edge to your LBD by accentuating it with pastel accessories like Gwenyth Paltrow.

WTF? What's The Fashion? Baby Blue Spring Day Dresses

Throughout spring we've seen browns, whites, navys and corals. Lets remember the light and airy feeling that spring brings by showing it in this season's trend of light blue daytime spring dresses. There is no reason to feel the blues while going flirty in baby blue. Be a cutie in strapless, one-shoulder or tank dresses. Chic and classic dresses like what Isla and Emmy are wearing are perfect for shopping at an open air mall or going to brunch with your mom or girlfriends. Go high-fashion couture as Emma Roberts has in her stunning Chanel ensemble. From church to dinner, the baby blue dress is a great day dress to match with your happy-go-lucky mood that spring can bring. Step into nude heels and lightly apply a pink lip to keep the look fresh and fun.

WTF? What's The Fashion? Jump-Suits

The jumpsuit has become one of the biggest trends of the month! And why not? The jumpsuit is perfect when you want to wear something different and sexy that will bring attention in a revealing yet fashionable way. So I am going to dedicate and educate you all on the many different styles and how-to-wears of the jumpsuit.
Popular in the '70s and '80s, this one-piece fashion item is coming back in time for you to invest in the modern version of it. The jumpsuit is the right choice for effortless fashion that stands out, the right way.
Depending on your mood and how much you want to bare, there are several styles of jumpsuits to choose from. . .
There's the Tube Tope style jumpsuit to share some skin. A halter jumpsuit can go from classy to casual depending on what you wear with it. If you choose casual go for terry cloth or a stretch knit fabric. If you want to be sexy and seductive, go for the backless halter jumupsuit. The tank top jumpsuit can easily be tailored for a clean and classic look. Lastly, there's nothing more extreme than the plunging neckline jumpsuit. This deep V will surely make an impression but for all the right reasons.
When accessorizing your jumpsuit, finish it with a pair of sandals and funky earrings for a stylish day look. To make your jumpsuit more dressier, choose a softer fabric in a darker or bold shade like black or red. Wear with high-heel sandals, a cute clutch and a shawl for those chilly evenings. The "it" accessory for the jumpsuit is the belt. Wrap yourself in fashion and break up your jumpsuit with a belt like the celebrities below have done.

WTF? What's The Fashion? Long Pendant Necklaces

Update an oh-so-boring outfit with a more casual version of statement jewelry. Like the bib necklace, the long pendant necklace adds a little visual interest to your wardrobe. Perfect for adding just enough "pop" to plain and "bang" to basic! This extended necklace is considered hip and stylish and can come in various colors and metals. More importantly, there are various designs and stones in many shapes and sizes that can hang from its chain. A really unique pendant that has definitely made a statement all its own has been the sleek or chunky, key or picture locket pendant necklace. Add a smaller necklace to layer on extra chic or go solo. You simply can't go wrong with lengthy jewelry. Honestly, this is as effortless as style can get. The long pendant necklace can go with any color within any outfit. Get 70s inspired while wearing your long pendant necklace with a turtleneck and a pair of wide leg pants. Drape it on top of a lightweight tank worn with shorts or flare leg jeans. Or go full out glamorous and gorgeous with a plunging neckline dress.

WTF? What's The Fashion? Snake-Skin Heels w/ Little Black Dresses

Inspired by the Reptile? To continue this trend, let's now focus on the snake-print as footwear instead of formal-wear. A snakeskin accessory is considered sleek and sexy that can make any party attire more exotic. The little black dress is already sleek, sexy and versatile and now even more exotic with a touch of serpent inspiration. There is no question that the LBD will go with a snakeskin heel. I guess the ultimate question is, how can you possibly turn this look into a fash faux pas? I honestly feel that there is no way this look can be made disastrous and all of you practically know the basics of dressing up a simple dress with a patterned accessory. Keep in mind that the style of LBD should resemble the style of snake print shoe. For an edgy daring dress like what Nicole Richie is wearing, a strappy or studded snake print sandal can turn that look from punk to pop. Minka's cute version of a LBD and be even more flirtatious with a peep-toe stiletto and a sophisticated simple little black dress is made complete with a classic pump similar to what Ginnifer is modeling in. Make it a collective look with a matching clutch or add a small touch of hissing charm by wrapping your finger in a coil-snake ring.

WTF? What's The Fashion? Snake-Skin Printed Dresses

A style has been spotlighted yet again on another one of my fashion favorites. Snake-printed dresses are a charming way to show elegance mixed with daring in your wardrobe. In a variety of different styles produced by numerous infamous designers, you can not go wrong when going reptile. Since these types of dresses possess a very detailed pattern, refrain from over-powering your snakey look with statement jewelry. For deeper tones of snakeskin dresses like Sofia Vergara's Gaultier, simple silver accessories are perfect. For more natural tones of nudes and browns, gold is the right choice. To add a pop of colour in your earth-animal inspired ensemble, add a deep rich jewel hue clutch or maybe a belt such as Emmy in her LinQ Dawn creation. "Less is more" when slipping into something serpent. Keep the footwear basic in style and colour like all three celebs below have fashionably done.

WTF? What's The Fashion? Brown Belts

You don't always have to wear pastels and jewel tones to appreciate spring, neutrals can make you warm season ready. Floral has definitely been the trend in bloom this season and an extended tan belt is a budding accessory for a floral print or an dairy white day dress. A wide or double wrap brown belt can really eccentuate a bohemian look or for when you're relaxed, out and about. Camel and taupe colours are the palettes for many clothing pieces and a chocolate brown belt can really add a touch of sophistication. See below, the adorable Maggie's take on the trend in her own version of a trendy cafe cazh outfit.

WTF? What's The Fashion? Floral Jewelry

Floral Jewelry are in bloom on the Red Carpet and are now more and more seen around the fingers of style-conscious shoppers eager to pick up this budding trend. Definitely enjoy this spring season by pointing towards jewel colors and designs that resemble the growth and renewal that spring brings. Make a colour enriched outfit more bold and flirty with vibrant petaled jewels or add eye-popping glimmer of colours to a monochromatic look with fun floral rings. Go from dazzling to darling by wearing matching sets of floral jewelry like sprouting a pair of daisy earrings to match a daisy charmed bracelet.
